SANTA CRUZ — Charlie Hong Kong will host a kids’ food fest from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 1, at the restaurant (1141 Soquel Ave.). There will be face painting, art projects, a photo booth, music, and prizes. Kids can prepare food, learn how a restaurant works, and meet the cooks. Cost is $5 and includes a buffet lunch. Get tickets at Charlie Hong Kong in advance or at the event. Life Lab and FoodWhat?! will be partnering for a couple of the projects.
