Rotary learns about healthy food for pets

Rotarian Darla Donahue introduced Chrissy King of Barktastic K9 Cupboard recently at the Struthers Rotary Club meeting. King explained the purpose of Barktastic is to provide a safe treat option for canine and feline pets. Her labrador developed a tumor thought to be caused by a particular brand of dog treat. This inspired King to develop a line of treats with a focus on canine health and nutrition. Her products are all-natural and avoid artificial preservatives and flavoring chemicals. The products are available at local pet centers, at the IGA in Struthers and online at www.barktastick9cupboard.com. A book will be donated to the Struthers Elementary School library in King’s name in appreciation for her presentation.
