A local chef is bringing his culinary skills and family heritage to Lima - and giving back to the community in the process.
Lima native Trevor Remy has launched a pop-up kitchen at the Bradfield Community Center to introduce some new cooking and eating styles to the community.
He'll be presenting a different dinner plate Tuesdays and Thursdays available for the public from 12 - 4 p.m. Anyone interested can contact the Bradfield Center at (419) 228-7766.
He is also preparing to hold cooking programs for the Bradfield Center's after school programs.
Remy says food is all he knows growing up in a Trinidadian-American household.
The Bradfield after school program participants will cook a monthly dinner for their parents starting at the end of this month.
